David Foldvari

I discovered Foldvari's work a couple of years ago whilst at college and have been a big fan of his work ever since! His work incorparates the use of pencil, photocoying and a fax machine before putting it on to a mac. Alot of his work is personal and the majourity of it is hand-rendered, i love to work in a similar way so am always turning to his work for inspiration and it has influenced me to experiment with a wide varity of different media such as paint, ink, marker ect.

I love the illustrations foldvari incorparates into his work, in this illustration the first thing i noticed was the type 'DRINK OF MY POVERTY', amongst the overwhelming use of illustration and mark making by contrasting colour it drew my eye to the message.
